Moore x 2

I finally finished playing the last 2 of the 13 households for Truth, Hamilton-Moore and Moore household (aka: Trisha/Dalhousie and Em). Took a while but I was happy that I managed to finish an entire week without going bonkers. So proud of myself.

Trisha and Dal’s wedding was small, quaint and only a family affair. So only Trisha’s brother, Davnus and Dal’s sister, Em were in attendance (I really have to find that hack that allows you to have more than 2 people at a party).

Trisha made her lovely Berry Pie for dessert and everyone went gaga for it, except for Davnus. He was too busy discovering the sparklers, which I forgot to take a picture of. He then smustled with his sister and danced with his distant sister-in-law and a good time was had by all. It was another Roof Raiser…too bad neither of them was a Popularity Sim. After the wedding, the household was pretty much done but I do believe a little one is on the way (gotta keep up with the “Jones’s” in regards to child production).

Moorehouse “Em” Moore’s House

Em spent days bumming around the house in her nasty sweats and since she was too busy working on making ends meet, she didn’t go over to Hernandez Corner Store to pick up an outfit for quite some time. She worked her way up the Slaker career and is now a freelance photographer. She used majority of her money to redecorate her home, On the outside, it looks exactly like Hayden and Lisa Bruty’s house (and they are next door neighbours) but Em’s slowly changing the look inside.

I’m still working on deciding what will be in all the rooms and some of the rooms, I don’t even know what to do with in the first place but it’s coming along. To celebrate the new look of her house (and the fact that she has a stove, she invited a friend home from work named Matthew Collins and her brother and new sister in law came over as well (albeit uninvited). She cooked them spaghetti and meatballs and everyone went to the table to enjoy. Do notice the missing brother who decided to nosey himself with a self home tour instead of coming to eat:

However, while on his self-tour, Trish decided to spill the beans and tell Em that she may be an auntie and god-mother. Em, who was happy at the news, promised to throw the baby shower and invite everyone over.

She is still happily single and has no plans on ever getting married but does someday hope to have a child, maybe through adoption.

TRUTH U
A new crop of students have moved off to Truth U. Only 4 this time (so happy the number is small for now). Enrolled for first term are Pedro Hernandez, Teneesha Ross, Kimberly Knight and Melissa Bruty.

Pedro and Teneesha grew up quite nicely and are both at Stone Dormitory, however, they are completely uninterested in each other romantically ah well…they are each other’s best friend. Melissa and Kimberly are both in different dorms.

Completely different subject regarding Truth:

I have decided that after I finish this session of Truth U, I’m going to try playing the rounds on a daily basis as opposed to weekly so it can really seem as the kids are growing up together. It really did seem weird to see Tyrone Wilson and Meshell Bruty at the same house but Tyrone was a teen, Meshell was a toddler but they are only a day apart. So the updates will probably be done by day (ie: Week 2: Monday) as opposed to household like how it’s currently done.

And also, I am very slowly, composing a set of laws…or rules for the residents of Truth to live by (in order to try and create a more realistic neighbourhood). Hopefully they will be generally finished by the time I finish these kids at Truth U.

Umgabi and Hamilton-Moorehouse Households

Well first I started out taking pictures of the Legacy House like I said I would do. I’m loving the look and I’m excited to see how it will grow (made sure I left plenty of space to do that). So let’s start looking at the pics (they're left as links because the pictures can be pretty big):

Legacy House Basement
Garage/Basement – Stairs that lead to the main floor, with the main garbage container for the house. Rec Room which will be more furnished as time goes by. Full bathroom and exercise room.

Legacy House Main Floor 1
Legacy House Main Floor 2

Main floor – Deck, Conservatory with Wedding arch but in desperate need of a homey feeling. Family Parlour that people only use because the phone is inside there. Main entrance that leads to breakfast nook, kitchen and stairs that lead to the 3rd floor. Open space that I have no idea how to use. Washroom and Photo Area (which apparently being built into every house in Truth).

Legacy House Top Floor 1
Legacy House Top Floor 2

3rd Floor – View of Conservatory below, Max and Matt’s room, Jace and Dru’s room. Dru’s old room which is one of the only rooms on this floor that’s decently furnished. Master bedroom and Master Bathroom which are both fully furnished with the exception of the walk-in closet for the master bedroom but I plan on working on it.

And onto the actual game play. Angelica Umgabi’s House.

I thought Nolan was the man for her but he was a jerk as well. Angelica was right about to send him on his way but then decided to use the crystal ball from the gypsy (minus the gypsy of course) and this guy named Andrew Fancey popped into her living room. He was nice looking and they had 2 lightening bolts of attraction (sounds good so far). Took a picture for the record:

They had a date the same night and worked on getting to know each other better and then Angelica sent him home and worked on her career until it was time to get to bed for the night. She finally joined the slacker track (to achieve her LTW of becoming a Professional Party Guest). She became a Wedding Photographer. I’m like, okay, how many more levels until she reaches the top? She required 6 more friends until she got it and with the job she already had, she only worked 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) so I had to make those days count or else I would have to wait until the next round to get her the promotion and it was already Tuesday as it was. She had already made friends with Nolan (despite the fact that he was a jerk) and Andrew and then she worked on renewing some more friendships that had fell short. By the time she had to go to work on Thursday morning, Angelica had made her required friends. When she came home after work that afternoon, she got promoted…to a Professional Party Guest. Gotta love that. She started out at level 9 of Slacker Career Track and I didn’t even realize it. I didn’t even think you could start out that high but she managed to do so and has been rewarded with a Perma-Platinum status for the rest of her life…and it only took her 4 days since she got home for Truth U. That very night, to celebrate, she called Andrew over for a date. And if the day could get any better, it did. They became best friends and she asked him to move in and he said yes. He only came with $3000 but who really cares when Angelica rakes in $1400 per day of work just for people to see her at a party. She even managed to publish a book that’s doing quite well for sales. I think I’m gonna wait until next round for him to pop the question and let Anglica float on her cloud of happiness for a while longer.

So what did Angelica accomplish this week?
-She achieved her Life Time Want
-Made a ton of friends
-Only works 3 days a week
-Finally met the love of her life and he’s good looking too (yay for genetics)
-Sold a book

Quite good if I say so myself.

Okay now onto the Hamilton-Moorehouse Household

More specifically, the Trisha Hamilton and Dalhousie Moorehouse Household. They finally finished cleaning up the nasty backyard that their house came with and put up a lovely black fence around it. Dalhousie is working as a Natural Scientist but has a lot of work to do before he moves up in the field. Trisha decided to start a small home business of selling cakes and deserts and the likes and is doing okay…she’s not really raking in the dough yet but considering she’s doing this all by herself and is really not making that much baked goods yet, it’s understandable. Dalhousie finally popped the question and she replied in the positive and I’m planning on marrying them in the newly cleaned backyard of their home.
