Week 2 Continues (Nott-Ross, Wilson, and Hernandez Families)

A bit of playing and not much updating. For any readers that I have, sorry about the delay.

Nott-Ross Family.

Breanna and Damien were anxiously waiting for their first child. They had the nursery ready and everything...and even so, they were still not prepared. They were quite surprised when Breanna gave birth to not 1 or 2 but 4 babies, two boys and two girls). Talk about stressful.

Breanna and Damien promptly moved to a bigger house. It's actually quite nice and very spacious. Breanna and Damien have taken the 2nd floor while the quads have 2 bedrooms in the basement. Due to the move to a new house, their play week was a bit longer than usual and they managed to grow up to be children before the week was out. They also gave me the first real experience of winter with Seasons.

They built the snowmen (evil one included), made the snow angels, nearly froze to death, enjoyed hot chocolate and were introduced to the penguin who aparently wants to know what the pay rates are like around the area.

Damien has been working hard to make to the top of the Crimminal Track but is having a hard time keeping fit due to the fact he's constantly overheating from running on the treadmill in the basement. Good thing there is a shower close by.


Wilson Family .

Tanya and Tyrell have become children, with the promise that they should be fairly good looking as teens (thank God for Kendra's genes!). A bit of remodelling was done to the house and a 2nd floor was added as it was getting way too crowded with the way the set-up was. There is actually a full kitchen, including a STOVE! Kendra has never had one of those before. Tyrone was finally happy to have something other than pizza and cereal. Nothing else all that exciting happened in the house other than Tyrone leaving to go to University at the end of the week.

Hernandez Family.

The family did an unexpected growth spurt this week. Miguel (yes, the little adorable one) became a teenager.

Felicia had a set of twins, two boys, named Antonio and Luis (all I need is a Theresa and Paloma and I've got almost all of the Lopez-Fitzgerald kids from Passions). They were a bit of a surprise and a disappointment. As per usual, I wanted just 1 more kid...I end up with more. I also wanted a daughter because Miguela is getting hoplessly over powered by testosterone in that house, but alas, she has to suffer more and with the way the trend is going on in this family, she won't have any daughters of her own either. (Come-on Tyrone, be a man about it and give her some daughters she so desperately wants!). The twins are both green eyed and black hair (apparently Felicia can't seem to pass on her brown hair without divine intervention, namely me, forcing Pedro to have brown hair from CAS).

Miguel became a romance sim who wants to reach the top of the music career. I've never done that career track before so it should be interesting. He's also decided that Blaise Hamilton, is quite attractive, and comepletely ignored the fact that his best friend Arvin (yes little Arvin from the previous post has become a teen with more intervention) may have mentioned that he kida liked Blaise. We'll see how this will continue with we reach back to the Seavey-Hamilton House.

An new member was added to the family and no it wasn't another baby. Roberto finally got the gold badge in robotry and made a servo he called Jeeves. I think Jeeves will be the only servo in the neighbourhood. They get kinda annoying after awhile. But Jeeves does clean up everything and takes care of the twins when everyone else is busy skilling.

Jose was not too far behind Miguel and 3 days later, it was time for him to become a teen as well. Miguela was kinda of upset with how little they knew their oldest brother Pedro so she invited him over for Jose's birthday. Miguel was so happy to see him and they spent a long time talking. Jose managed to get in a few words here and there. I love this sibling shot I got of the Hernandez kids (well, at least 4 of them considering the other two can't do anything but cry).

After Pedro left to go home, Miguela decided it was time for her to go off to University. So early the next morning (like 2 AM), Miguela called a cab and left for Truth U to be with Tyrone.

Roberto was so sad to see his only daughter leaving to go to University, he actually stood at the curb for quite some time.

House 5 & 6: Hernandez cont'd and the Bruty's

There wasn't much left to do at the Hernandez Household. Miguela is really enjoying the idea of a boyfriend. Do notice the young and impressionable little brother on the other side of the couch. And suffice it to say, Tyrone and Miguela are getting along quite wonderfully.

Pedro on the other hand, who still hasn't seen Kimberly all week, as been spending his free time, trying to "get to know" the other ladies of Truth better, namely Kendra Wilson...wait! Hold on a sec, isn't that Tyrone's Mom? Yeah...Pedro is trying to date his sister's, boyfriend's mother...They are still in negotiations about the arrangement

Pedro: I'm not too young for you
Kendra: And then there's the legality issue...
Pedro: Do I look like I care about the legality issue? I'm almost 18! Who am I going to go blabbing it? Fish boy over there? [looking at Tyrone]
Kendra: That is my son, you know...and he's dating your sister! Means nothing to you?
Pedro: We're not finished discussing this.

Jose has just become a boy! (I'm a real boy! I'm a real boy!...don't mind my craziness) Cute little thing but grew up wearing a swimming outfit...I don't know why but I changed his clothes as soon as I could. And I finally got an icon made of Miguel as well:

The family corner shop is going okay. I've pretty much given up on selling the toys because everyone just keeps going to the flowers but no one seems to buy the snapdragons...maybe I need to lower the price more. So in order, to get a little bit more business, a poker table was put in the backroom with a ticket machine...that's where everyone seems to go now and then when there's no more space, fine, they'll buy some groceries. I made a couple of signs for the stores (which still need to acutally be placed outside the store:

Finally got a picture of the Hernandez's lone employee, Nolan (who still has the little "x" symbols floating around his head as soon as Kendra comes anywhere near him. He's almost ready to be a manager as well. Never had an emloyee before while playing OFB

Next House! The Bruty's!

As soon as I loaded the lot, the first person who came over to visit was Tyrone. Guess he missed his godparents, Hayden and Lisa.

Tyrone apparently decided to ask for an "in" from Auntie Lisa, for the medical profession. She said she'd do what she could. Tyrone then went around the house, spending quality time with Melissa (Hayden's little sister) and Meshell (Hayden and Lisa's daughter who's birthday was that very day). She grew up well and the next day she brought home a new friend, Miguel. Who knows what the future will bring for the two of them...can you tell I'm a die hard romantic?

I've got a slight problem with one of my sims however, Melissa (Hayden's sister), was moved into the household during my "set-up" process. She was originally a teen townie. By now, she should have at the most 10 days left before she either goes off to University or becomes an adult but now she won't age. I've been in the Bruty household for about 3 days now, and it still say 15 days until she transitions. If anyone knows what's wrong and how to fix it, feel free to drop me a note about it.

La Familia Hernandez

See my multi-lingual abilities? Before I get into today's update, I got to show a better picture of Damien. I didn't realize the one I had put up of him and Breanna was so small.

Quick picture update for Kendra Wilson's household. Finally got a picture of Tyrell as a baby. Of course he's adorable...there's no way to go wrong until you look at him as a toddler and wonder what happened to his eyes. Tanya grew to a toddler with blonde hair and black eyebrows...why? Apparently some glitch that should be taken care of by the newest patch from sims2.com. I don't know how it affects current sims though.

Recently, I've been playing the Hernandez family (House #4 on the list). Miguela grew into a teen on the first night in. First thing she did was call Tyrone over.

He checked her out, she checked him out...

And at the rate things are going, they'll probably be married as soon as legally old enough. Here's a close up of Miguela's current look:

Miguel became a child, right after Jose, yup baby Jose was finally born. in the middle of his party. Talk about a crasher but Miguel took it all in strides and was happy when he got cake.

Pedro was working on becoming a professional party guest but he has a long way to go and he hasn't seen Kimberly in awhile.

Roberto and Felicia have been working on setting up a business. (More like it was a reminder for me as to how to works). At first, they sold water wigglers, clothes and grocery...talk about variety. It sold pretty well, so I decided to see what else they could sell. I had Felica work on her flower making skills...she's up to a wild flower bouquet and they are selling like hotcakes. Roberto was making kites and fire trucks. They went okay but no one gaga over them like the flowers. So now it will be a corner store that sells primarily flowers. They've hired one employee named Nolan...something or other. And guess what? According to his sizzling hearts flying above his head, he finds Angela Umgabi quite attractive and he really doesn't like Kendra Wilson...everyone likes Kendra, in every sense of the word but not him...I wonder if he's a family sim?

I added a couple more households to Truth and I swear I won't add any more for awhile...at least a month (don't quote me on that).

Our 2 new households are the Hernandez family and the lone Watson family. We'll deal with the Watson family first because they are the smallest one.

Olivia Watson is the only memeber of this family. She's the town eccentric, although an absolutely adorable one. She's a knowledge sim who loves to wear her aviator wear. She's bought herself a small house right next door to Damien Ross' family (I don't think I ever mentioned his family...they exist; a mother, sister and baby brother. I'll talk about them on another post when I actually play them)

Watson Homestead

Now on to the Hernandez. They are a lovely family who have just moved to Truth after winning the Sim City Million Simeoleon Lottery. Roberto (father) and Felicia (mother) bought a run-down factory (or more like Roberto was dragged into it kicking and screaming by Felica). Felicia was determined to make the place liveable for their son Pedro, and toddler daughter, Miguela.



The kids have grown. Pedro is now a fine strapping Romance Teen who wants to reach to the top of the slacker career track and Miguela is one of the most adorable children I have ever seen. They also now have a little brother who's now joined the scene named Miguel and Mamma is expecting again.

The living room is the only place that is completely done in the house and as Felicia goes through the house (which will take time due to her pregnancies), pictures will be posted of the changes

And after all of this, I think I may have found a perfect person for Tyronne. Miguela is always inviting him over after school (despite the fact they go to 2 different schools). They already have become best friends :D
