Alrightie, I've kinda forgotten which households I played recently. This is what happens when you wait wayyyyy too long to update a blog. So if things seem way out of order or show no continuancy...sorry :D

Ross-Copur (yes, the Ross-Copur Household)

Nicole Ross was getting tired of being alone and finally decided it was time to start dating. Realizing that she didn't want to waste time with dwindling dating pool in Truth, she called the gypsy match maker, put down a good amount of her life savings and hoped for the best.

Derek, had decided to really and earnestly, track down his run-away girlfriend, Emmy Kosmokos and he actually managed to do what Em Moore had managed to do. Emmy came home with him and moved in to stay in Teneesha's old bedroom. Things are looking up for them.

Nicole waited for her date impatiently. A young, dark skinned, blond haired man in a tweed suit soon showed up and introduced himself as Prof. William Copur. They hit it off immediately, even though he was quite young. Nicole and Will (as he prefered to be called) decided to get married quite quickly. Nicole called her children over for the wedding, Emmy volunteered to cook the wedding dinner (which was quite good) and Derek declared he was the supervisor to make sure everything got done. After glares from his mother and his girlfriend, Will took pity on his soon to be step-son, and asked him to help set up the wedding arch on the balcony.

The wedding went off without a hitch.

Nicole's looked lovely (of course). Teneesha wouldn't have her mother looking any other way.
Both Damien and Teneesha with the turn of events.
Mind you, all the guests were happy with the turn of events

And a lovely evening was had by all.

Watson Household

Big revelation (or at least it was for me). Olivia made a new friend, Em Moore. For the life of me, I was trying to figure out for the life of me, why Em never seemed interested in any of the guys I had introduced her to....and then she went over to Olivia's house and randomly flirted with her. It explained so much! She wasn't interested in men. So Em and Olivia are keeping things on the down-low for now. No one else knows, or knew about the relationship, and they are happy to keep it quiet for now.

Umgabi-Andrews

Angelica and Andrew finally got married. Couldn't happen any quicker considering she just found out she was prenant. They quickly contacted the Vicar, Patrick O'Reilly and he married them.

Olivia and Em managed to sneek in a little time together

What we have also learned from this wedding...
  • Kicky Bag is an acceptable sport at recpetions
  • Davnus cannot believe anyone actually wants to marry Angelica
  • Em thinks that Angelica is "hot"...too bad Anglica doesn't swing that way
  • Vicar O'Reilly makes a mean alcoholic drink
  • Teneesha is secretly a DJ
  • Apparently, it's okay to wear a bridal gown to another person's wedding

Anglica and Andrew also ended up having a set of triplets, 2 girls and a boy:

The Ross, Watson, Goodman and Legacy Household

The Ross family was uneventful but considering it was only 2 days until their week was over, it was expected. Nicole got promoted. Teneesha is ready for Truth U and Derek is his cute self, as per usual

Ofelia Watson…first time I’ve played her household. She started out promising and she ended up disappointed by the end of the 2nd day. She got into her science track, late Monday morning so she didn’t have work that day and only had $28 to her name. She talked to Nicole Ross, her only friend in Truth as of yet, who said she would see what she could do about helping Ofelia out financially, especially considering that Ofelia only had a single bed, lawn chair, stack of books, a toilet and shower…no food, no fridge, no nothing! Ofelia was eagerly looking forward to her first day at work as a Test Subject. They gave her some stupid puzzle where she had to decide if she wanted the blue liquorice or red liquorice. Ofelia went with her first instinct and took the red one. An announcement on the sound system told her, “That is all, we will no longer be needing your services.” Ofelia thought that meant she would go on to test something else…unfortunately, Ofelia soon discovered, it meant she was unemployed.

However, to her surprise when she looked in her bank account, trying to figure out how she was going to make ends meet, she found a mysterious deposit of $50,000. Ofelia was quite shocked but was told that the money was supposed to have been deposited in her account. Ofelia decided to no longer question how she got the money and set about buying some essentials, like a car, a small fridge and counter and an easel. She went to Hernandez’s Corner Store and pick up a few of those Pink Puffer Snapdragons that she had read about and was quite surprised to find them available so locally. She set up a few of them in her room and decided she was going to start building robots instead of going out and working like the common man (or woman). Deciding as well that gardening and cleaning the house, would be a waste of her skills and time, she hired a maid that was sent to her at Nicole’s advice and a gardener to take care of the overgrown hedges in her yard. Ofelia also decided she was going to have to learn everything if she wanted to be able to build one of those Servos she read about in the SimRobotics Scientific Journal. She set about learning everything about the mechanics and then decided that she wanted her servos and other robots, to have a distinctive “Ofelia Watson” look and spent some time working on her creativity. After that, Ofelia decided that anyone who wants a decent Servo, would like one that could cook as well, so she set out to study everything there is to know about cooking.

By the end of her week, Ofelia realized that she really doesn’t find the new male maid attractive, but he does keep the house quite clean, so that was enough for her. The gardener doesn’t seem too bad and her house wasn’t overgrown with ivy, so the gardener stays as well. Ofelia maxed her creativity and mechanical skills, but didn’t do too well socially.

Goodman Household aka: Felicia Goodman, Kenisa Sorority, graduated.

Felicia didn’t realize how broke she would be once she bought her home and how sparse the house would be. Since money was so tight, she decided to get a loan for $10,000 to spruce up her house. She got herself a job as an artist, and slowly started getting money coming into the house, only to have it put right back to her loan. But Felicia couldn’t really complain. She had basics, a fridge and pizza maker, computer (Monique hacked one, of course), her double bed and a decent bathroom. Not too long after she moved in, she managed to find the time to invite Breanna Nott, now Breanna Ross over to see the new house, bare as it was. Felicia was quite surprised to see Breanna’s reaction.

Turns out, Breanna just realized that she’s pregnant and possibly, she not disgusted by the house (Felicia hadn’t manage to decipher that part yet). Felicia clapped her on the back, told her congratulations and sent her back home before she threw up all over the lawn. Later that evening, feeling lonely, Felicia decided to call this guy named Amin Carson that she remembered from Truth U. He was kind of weird but he made her laugh so she gave him a call. Please keep this picture of him in mind:

Let’s just say, he’s not as creepy as he seems. He was the Notorious Truth U Streaker and apparently, he feels very…liberal about the use of clothing. Felicia and Amin hit it off (with 2 lighting bolts of attraction) and maybe she moved to fast or something but my Friday, she was helping him unpack boxes in her house. He came with $19,000 so that was beneficial and he loved her to distraction. By Sunday, they were married, and he still didn’t like wearing clothes around the house and Felicia has already given up on trying to change him.

What was also interesting at the wedding was who was seen by the Truth Community Chapel. As Felicia and Amin were walking up to the front doors of the church, they happened to spy a couple in deep “conversation”. At first it appeared to be Damien and Breanna Ross, however, on closer inspection Felicia realized it wasn’t Breanna, but a woman that did look a lot like her. Felicia wasn’t sure what to think but as far as she was concerned, either Felicia had a twin sister that she didn’t know about and Damien found for her or Damien was having an affair with a woman who looks a lot like his wife which would be not only moralistically wrong, but kind of creepy.

Legacy Household

The family continued to go on as before…Stevie wanted more grandchildren and was strongly hinting towards Drucilla to hurry and get married so she could have her legitimate grandchildren. Brian rolled his eyes and decided to wait until his daughter was ready. Drucilla was more than ready to become Mrs. Jace Ajjanagadde however, with their work schedule, it was very difficult to co-ordinate the schedules to have it. Finally Drucilla had enough and woke everyone up early, 6AM early and told them to go down to the conservatory. There, she and Jace finally got to exchange their vows a couple of hours before his carpool arrived. They made quick trip upstairs…and she’s now pregnant. So the next generation of Vane/Seavey/Ajjanagadde family will be there any day now…Please let the genetics be decent!

Bruty & Ross Households

My goodness, problems are coming and I don't know what to do! This all started just before Meshell became a teen. Both Hayden and Lisa are working their way up their respected careers and bringing in the money, when Lisa brings a friend in from work. I'm like, okay, no prob. Spend a bit of quality time and send them home in a couple hours so she can continue skilling and work on her next promotion. She brings home Jace Ajjanagade (I think I can actually spell his name correctly. Hooray!). I'm liking the inter-connectivity that starting up in my neighbourhood until I see this:

What the heck happend to Lisa and Hayden since graduation of Truth U? I swear they used to have 2 bolts of attraction a piece...and now Lisa's more attracted to a Kenisa Sister's finace (aka: Dru Seavey's finace). I have no clue as to how I'm gonna deal with this now. My problem is:

  1. Hayden LTW of a Golden Anniversary...which means no cheating from either partner, throw a party after they're both elders and he stays platinum for the rest of his days
  2. Jace is now a part of a Legacy Household...so moving him out now, I believe goes against the rules
So I may have to ignore the attraction until Hayden gets his LTW or do it quickly so that Hayden can find someone else and then achieve his LTW with a new spouse...but if I do, he'll have a major aspirational loss due to the break up of his marriage.

That's not all the drama that's happening in the Bruty house. Lisa and Melissa are fighting...not just arguing but full out brawling in the middle of the kitchen. Hayden nearly missed work 2 times just trying to break up the fights.

I didn't bother with pictures of the full fight because honestly, who wants to take a picture of the puff of smoke that follows Pigpen around (from Charlie Brown). Neither Lisa nor Melissa are taking about why they are fighting but a few choice words of the fight were "ungrateful", "unworthy", etc (just pick out a few more 'un' words that are negative, and you've got the idea).

Meshell is the only one who seems to have absolutely no problems. She making friends left right and centre. First, she brought home Miguel...then she brough home Jose...the next day, she brought home Blaise. Can you see a social butterfly on the move? Suffice it to say, she became a popularity sim when she became a teen (can't let a 10 Outgoing go to waste considering both of her parents for 4 and 3 Outgoing). She wants to become the first Mayor of Truth...kinda makes you wonder who's running the show now. Meshell loves to shop as well.

Her dad, Hayden doesn't like the stuff she wears...but what does he know? He's only her dad. She pats him on his bald head, and saunters out of the house with her mid-driff, low cut tops and low rider pants...I may not have to worry about the prospect of his marriage falling apart when the way his daughter dresses could give him a heart-attack first.

Melissa left Hayden and Lisa's home and decided to go off to Truth U early instead of fighting with her sister-in-law. We'll see how this family continues to deal with each other when she moves back to Truth.

The Ross Household...

Skilling'R'Us seems to be the motto in this house. I would like to get Nicole married again but there are no prospective blokes...so I may just let her wait until elderhood and maybe one of the repairmen, headmasters, or professors from Truth U might be available. Derek grew up into a NICE looking teen. I was so excited! Here's a look at him so far:

I love this family's genetics. I grew up one of his townie friends, Emmy Kosmokos.

Not exactly the best picture of her but you at least get the general idea of what she looks like now. She completely captured his heart (3 lighting bolts of attraction a piece and there's no one else involved!). They're both family sims and she wants to be Captain Hero...how's that going to work with Derek's brother and sister, Damien and Teneesha? I don't know but it would be interesting to see how it will all play out.

The Ross Family finally gets their introduction

What makes this really sad was that they were the first family I created for Truth but other than Damian, they have never been mentioned. So let's begin

Nicole Ross

Single mother of 3 and we're going with the idea that her husband died. She has recently decided to go back to work, after Damien went off to Truth University and Derek (her youngest) began to go to school full time. She's working on becoming a doctor.

Teneesha Ross

Only daughter to Nicole Ross. She's a generally quiet girl but makes friends quite easily, despite the fact that she doesn't really say much. Nicole would prefer if she were a bit more outgoing and is subtly trying to make it happen. Teneesha is Nicole's right hand. While Nicole's at work, Teneesha stays at home with Derek, teaching him chess and the rules of soccer (Nicole's favorite sport). Teneesha seems to know everyone both in the town of Truth and at the University. She has recently made friends is Pedro Hernandez (much better picture will follow at the end of this update) but lucky for her emotionally anyways. she has no lighting bolts of attraction. Got to work on finding someone for her...maybe Venkat, Damien's roomate at Truth U.

Derek Ross
Sorry no older pics as of yet, forgot to take them

Derek's the baby of the family and looks just like Damien. Teneesha is already groaning about the idea of girls calling the house wanting to talk to Derek. She thought it would be done with considering Damien is away at University and no longer tying up the phone lines. Derek's becoming pretty good friends with Tyrone and actually likes the neighbourhood stalker Garrett Cho.

Alright, here's the promised picture of Pedro. Apparently, I can't get any good shots of him at home but when he's away from home, he's so photogenic...go fig?
