Truth U again

Kenisa Sor

Theresa Taylor is no longer alone in Kenisa Sor. As soon as Teneesha got to campus, she manuvered her way in. She decided the connections she could make in Kenisa, would help her greatly in the Crimminal Organization she was working on building. Once she was in, she worked on bringing in her dormmate, Tina Kalson and another friend, Melissa Bruty. They're keeping Kenisa Sor at 4 current members and are raking in the dough.

What makes this group interesting as well, is that both Tina and Melissa want to become Captain Hero...and Teneesha wants to be Crimminal Mastermind. It should be interesting to see how their future careers mix and if they will remain friends.

While there is nothing definite about permenant love interests in most cases, Teneesha has managed to find someone that interests her and they have gone out on a couple dates. Everyone else is keeping their options wide open.

Roschlel Frat.

There are only 3 members in Roschlel currently, Marcus (the jerk), Corey (the Secret Society Member) and recent member, Pedro Hernandez. While they are working on their grades and all the rest, these guys are actually looking for relationships. Marcus has been talking to this girl back in Truth, but it's still very much in the early stages. She's not even sure if she wants to try for a relationship just yet. She's still in highschool.

Corey has actually been going out with Teneesha. They look so cute together.

They later went out dancing at Truth Student Union (now that it was slightly remodled so the bartender and DJ could actually leave). They had some fun dancing and talking until 4 o'clock in the morning.

Pedro has even started dating, and no he didn't go back to his highschool girlfriend, Kimberly Knight, although she is at Truth U. He actually started talking to his neighbour from across the street, Meshell Bruty. Do notice my shock when she popped over. It didn't start out as something romantic. They started playing pool and Pedro started to notice her as something more than a kid.

She just may be the one to cure him of his romance sim ways. They are the most loveable couple in my game at the moment. Meshell is already knowing how she will handle him and have him eating out of her hands. Pedro is more worried as to how her dad, Hayden, is going to take her dating a much older man.

Wow, Truth U seems kinda empty

They've graduated! All my girls from Kenisa Sor. have graduated and have already moved back to Truth. Once Felicia, Angelica and Em were certain that there would be someone to continue Kenisa on campus, they kissed their Kenisa Sor. Sisters good-bye and hoped a cab to go find a new place to live in Truth. Trisha was prepared to graduate but stayed a bit longer, not rushing, in order to induct Theresa Taylor (a uni townie) into Kenisa Sor.

Once Theresa joined at moved in at the behest of Trisha, Trisha and Dru worked hard to finish up their studies. After their final exams, the spent a couple more days on campus, seeing to the end of things. Theresa got engaged to Dalhousie. That was her big, grad surprise. Dru spent a lot of time on the phone, fielding calls of her sister Keely and mother Stevie. Stevie was not happy about Keely's situation (the baby on the way before the ring on the finger) and didn't want to talk to her. Dru was starting to become sick of being the family answering machine but tried her best to keep the family peace.

On a more personal note for Dru, on her last date with Jace (which was a smashing success), she asked Jace if he wanted to move in with her after grad. He smiled but didn't really question as to where they were going to live. Maybe he should have. He was quite surprised when the taxi cab pulled up to her old house and all their stuff was being unloaded. Dru declared that she wasn't actually leaving home and that this was where they were going to live. Jace asked if there was another house on the property, like a pool house or something. Dru shook her head and said he'd being staying in Keely's old room, which became the guest room. Jace's eyebrow nearly got lost in his hairline.

"I'm sleeping in your sister's old room?" he questioned. "Not with you?"
"Well I only have a single bed and there's a double bed in the guest room. Keely had her stuff shipped over to her and Davnus' place," said Dru. Jace wanting to make sure what he assumed would be correct, continued to ask more questions.
"So you'll be sleeping..." began Jace.
"In my old room, silly," said Dru with a grin as she ran up to her old room. Jace stood in the foyer looking at the house that hadn't changed since he and Dru left for Truth U. He froze as he saw her father, Brian Seavey, come out of the kitchen, with a non too happy look on his face.
"Dru didn't tell me you were coming back with her," said Brian. Jace winced.
"I didn't know that Mr. Seavey," said Jace, silently cursing Dru vehemently in his head.

Jace got on the phone as soon as he could, trying to call Damien. Jace complained after he explained. Damien listened and only said "uhh-hunhh" since Jace wasn't really giving him the chance to say much more. When Jace finally took a breath, Damien tried to knock some sense into him.

"When I left Truth U, you said you were going to propose, right?" asked Damien.
"Yeah," replied Jace.
"You haven't done that yet, have you?"
"No," said Jace sheeplishly (is that even a word?).
"A good way to find favor in the parents of the girlfriend's eyes is to ask for her hand in marriage from the said parents, propose and keep out of her room until after the wedding," said Damien.
"Great idea!" exclaimed Jace with a grin on his face. "I'm gonna go do that now." Damien rolled his eyes, hung up the phone and hoped that any kids Jace and Dru would have would have a lot more common sense then those 2.

Needless to say, Jace proposed, Dru said yes, the parents are off his back for now but he's still not allowed in her room. Not long after the proposal though, the call came in. Keely and Davnus had the babies...yup! Babies apparently twins really run in the family. They had a boy and a girl named Blake and Blaise (respectively). Both Dru and Trisha are the happy aunties and are ready to spoil the twins rotten. Stevie has finally come around but keeps giving hints that Keely and Davnus should get married. Davnus decided to have a heart to heart with Keely's father, Brian, explaining that he did want to marry Keely but she wanted to lose the baby weight first and wait until Jace and Dru had their wedding. Brian was happy with the response and went home, wondering how he was going to tell his wife the good news.

Felicia, Angelica and Em, each bought their own little home in different parts of town. Trisha and Dalhousie scrounged together as much money as they could and bought a shop with a residential part for them to live in. Trisha is thinking of opening a shop to sell art. The house itself has a large backyard (which desperately need to be cleaned up), and a basement for more living.

This neighbourhood will take quite awhile to get through but at least it's no more University for me for quite awhile and as of yet, there are only 3 teens to send anyways but there will be a large baby boom soon and I didn't even realize it. Keely and Davnus just had their twins, Sandy and Ven will be having their baby soon, Felicia Hernandez (just realized that I have 2 Felicia's in my neighbourhood) is about to pop any day now. Plus there are still all the children and teens that need to get ready for University. This should be fun. =)

Nothing happened in Truth today but I wanted to show off

So as mentioned in my title, really nothing happened today because I haven't played yet but I really liked that banner I made yesterday so I decided to make some icons to go along with it (including an animated one).

Kenisa vs. Roschlel

Finally have some good shots of the girls of Kenisa Sor. (after I built them a photostudio in the basement). And I am also almost finished with University for this generation...do you know how tiresome and repetitive it can be? Anyways, let's go on with what happened to the girls now that Felicia's in charge.

Felicia started to freak out a bit because for awhile, it was only her. As far as she was concerned, she knew nothing about people management but luckily for her, she soon had a visit from Sandy who helped her get on her feet. Sandy gave Felicia tips on how and why pledges are asked to join and told her to make sure she explains the benefits of being a member of Kenisa Sor. (the $10,000 upon grad is a good incentive but try not to mention the pregnancies and photobooth). Felicia decided to invite Angelica Umgabi to join. She was only to happy to do so (hoping this also meant she could find a man by the time of graduation). Felicia decided it would be best to get the sister of a sister of Kenisa Sor. She called Dru Seavey who decided it was time to start looking for a new place to live, considering her sister had fast-tracked her way out of University upon discovering her pregnancy and her boyfriend, Jace had moved out of the dorms to run Roschlel with Dalhousie. Dru loved the sisterhood and especially Felicia when she finally found something decent to do with Dru's hair. Dru hated her cheeks so much but decided she wasn't going to go the way of her twin with plastic surgery. With 3 members in Kenisa Sor., Angelica decided to call her old dorm-mate, Em, to see if she would like to join as well. Em wasted no time and quickly called her brother Dalhousie's girlfriend Trisha. The 2 of them had become as close as sisters (Em was secretly hoping that Trisha was the one for Dalhousie). In no time flat, Trisha joined Kenisa as well bringing the membership up to 5.

Felicia, Angelica and Trisha are almost ready to graduate and Dru and Em are not too far behind, meaning they have to start recruiting new members already, namely one of Sandy's old cheersquad buddies who's name escapes me right now.

Angelica has gotten a record worse than Ven. And I think she's starting to get depressed. She tried Dalhousie from 1st year and we know how well that turned out. She tried with both Davnus and Damien, neither of them actually noticed her. She never saw anyone run as fast as Ven to get away from her. She thought she had finally found someone in on of the newest member of Roschlel, Marcel Vu. He sounded so nice on the phone and oh so friendly. Em even told her he was pretty decent looking, not as fine as Damien, but not disgustingly ugly either. Angelica thought she finally had her chance. They became friends really quickly and then she tried to ask him out on a date. Marcel didn't try to be nice about it and he was quite direct in what he was trying to say. A clear resounding "NO" nearly deafened Angelica. She tried to hold back her tears when she then asked if he wanted to come over and hang out at Kenisa as just friends...this was the answer she got:

Angelica decided she would not give up hope and tried talking to a guy who looked like a Star Wars fanatic who was always walking by...he was just too strange to her. What kind of person walked around talking like Yoda all the time without being small and green?

Em tried to cheer her up as best she could but there was really nothing she could do for her bestfriend. Em already made up her mind that she wanted to be single and fancy free. Maybe one day she'd adopt a kid or something but she wasn't going to put herself through the rejection that Angelica was going through.

At Roschlel Frat., you already heard that the jerk Marcel joined...I don't think that Jace and Dalhousie would have allowed him to pledge. But on a somewhat better note, they got a Secret Society Member, Corey Fancey to join. Roschlel Frat. is set and ready to have Jace and Dal graduate and have the frat left in the capable hands of Corey. Hopefully, Marcel will not be so...cruel.

Graduates, Homes and Babies! Oh My!

A lot of students have graduated (with the help of a hack that allows them to go to their final exam whenever I want them to...saves so much real-life time) but before I go into the details and show pictures of these students (about time someone else got to see them) I have to confess something...

As much as I love Keely-Ann Seavey, her lower jaw was bothering me to no end. I couldn't take it anymore and I caved...I gave her reconstructive surgery. I can't really feel too bad about it because she's not the heir anyways...so here's Keely before and after:

Now on to the other graduates and their problems (none of which can be fixed with surgery). My goodness, these guys love to pair up. Keely and Davnus paired up from quite awhile ago, so that was really no big surprise. Dru went to Truth U with her boyfriend but everyone else at Truth U were still single and they were supposed to be eduation oriented...well let's see how things went, shall we?

Ven and Damien finally got their fraternity started:

It took a lot of hard work, sweat, good grades, the InSiminator (sp?) and Monique's hacked computer from MTS to get it done. Since I really don't like sitting there for hours on end playing 1 sim through University, there was no way I was going to do that for about 5-7 houses of sims at Truth U, so I kinda cheated. They actually had to earn their grade, mind you, but they never ate, slept, went potty etc. All of the sims went through the same rigorous training:

1. get the required skills to get a 4.0
2. write their own term paper
3. research with all free time, breaking only to go to class
4. when grade bar is filled, move the final exam up to the next 2 hours
5. come back home after exams, cheer for your good grade and rinse and repeat

Only the sorority and fraternity house did things a little bit differently. After their grade bar was filled, they were to spend all extra time working from home writing articles with Monique's hacked computer. This also helped raise their skill points while making the necessary cash to keep their sorority and fraternity going, and to give the graduates from Kenisa and Roschlel (yes, that is what I named the fraternity) a $10,000 bonus upon graduation to help them start up. Now onto their actual lives.

As Roschlel was begining, Damien saw Breanna Nott (from Kenisa) walking by (makes sense considering Kenisa is right next door). He liked what he saw and raced down the stairs as fast as his shoes could carry him...she smiled, he smiled, Venkat realized he was the only one doing work and became slightly miffed. Didn't take too long before they started dating. He proposed right before graduation...it was hard to do because all of her friends wanted to get a good look and this....man who was dating the current president of Kenisa. Damien managed to sail through them quite well and got a "yes" to his proposal.

Venkat on the other hand, kept on striking out with every girl he met...he was starting to wonder what was wrong with him. He saw the new and improved Keely. She smiled, he smiled, he tried to flirt, and got informed that her boyfriend, Davnus, was the new pledge...crash and burn Ven, crash and burn. Ven saw another girl who piqued his interest, Angelica Umgabi...until she opened her mouth. Ven pivoted on his heel and quickly ran back into Roschlel. He met Dalhousie's sister, Em/Moorehouse. She didn't even bother to smile. She just sailed right by him, looking for Dalhousie at his new residence of Roschlel. Ven was starting to wonder why no one was paying him anymind, even though his was the co-founder of Truth's first fraternity. While brooding in front of the fireplace, cheerleader Sandy Andrews from Kenisa sat down beside him smirking. He tried to flirt, Sandy told him not to try so hard and let things run it's natural course...apparently natural course with Sandy could move quite fast. She got pregnant in the "magical pregnancy" photobooth at Kenisa on their first date...I'm really gonna have to look into that considering they were not trying for a baby.

Davnus is still on cloud nine since he started dating Keely (who joined Kenisa). The magic photobooth did work on them too. As soon as Keely found out she was pregnant, she raced through Physics major as quickly as possible, not wanting to have the baby on campus....Pregnancies upon graduation while being in the Kenisa Sorority 4/5. Breanna and Damien decided to wait until they got married...especially after hearing the track record of the photobooth.

So that's 3 graduates from Roschlel. Dalhousie and Jace Aja- (you know who I'm talking about and if not, read one of the previous entries about Dru Seavey and her boyfriend Jace) are currently running Roschlel:

Doesn't Dalhousie (on the left) look so happy about this concept. Jace don't look so bad once you change his clothes although I still don't know why he has Maxis eyes...I have defaults plus about 20 eye colors de-customized so anyone could get them.

At Kenisa, you already know that Breanna, Sandy and Keely have graduated (2 of which left pregnant). Left in charge of Kenisa Sorority are Felicia Goodman (who is having some real trouble dealing with the cow mascot), Anglica Umgabi and Em (Moorehouse) Moore. Dru is currently pledging with Trisha Hamilton (Davnus' sister) next in line as a pledge. No good pictures to show as of yet, hopefully next update.

The graduated couples have all bought houses beside each other on Brixham Drive. Just follow the arrow to the box and you'll see which ones...all I need to do is add a lovely white picket fence :D:

Very slight population growth in Truth

I thought I'd share my new neighbourhood screen for Truth so here it is:

The neighbourhood is really starting to grow. I have 4 households in Truth and a lot of up and comming students at Truth University. Almost all of them are residing in the dormitories (Brixham Dorms from ModTheSims2 by Starrling - link to the right).

Damien Ross and Venket Schlehl share a dorm together along with a guy who looks just like Benjamin Long (uni townie). Venket (who will now forever be known as Ven) is an exchange student from....no one really knows where he's from. Damien is trying hard to take Ven under his wings but some of Ven's nerdish tendencies still manage to sneak through. At least Damien had a good laugh when pick one of their old dorm-mates, Felicia Goodman. Damien is still trying to figure if Felicia really wanted to join Kenisa Sorority so early, or if Ven scared her away and it was affordable housing. Damien has decided that the university is missing something very vital, a fraternity. Damien, along with Ven decided that they are going to start one up before they graduate (Ven is currently meeting more people around the University, trying to drum up support...and it can also help with his social skills).

Dalhousie (brother) and Moorehouse (sister) Moore just arrived to Truth University as well. Their parents were very big fans of Black American Universities...which wouldn't be so bad if Moorehouse (who is a girl) didn't have the last name Moore. She hated her name for the longest time and as soon as she saw the spot on the application that asked what name she would prefer to be called, Moorehouse simply put in Em. Em met Angelica Umgabi who quickly tried to hit on Dalhousie...well she bombed...Em shook her head and wondered if this was how her whole Univeristy career was going to be.

Trisha and Davnus Hamilton managed to find a dormitory without anyone in it yet. All that's known about them is that they want money and more of it.

Currently running Kenisa as of this moment are Breanna Nott (a secret society member) and Sandy Andrews (ex-cheerleader). They suffered a mild set-back when Lisa and Kendra graduated, but they are on their way to building the Kenisa Sorority back to it's former glory. They have already aquired a new member, Felicia Goodman and are working on getting more from the new students at Truth University.

Truth is Moving on

Lisa and Kendra graduated with a lovely GPA of 3.9 each. Lisa lost the 4.0 when she had a miscarriage. The day before her exam...not exactly the best mindset. It was hard just getting her happy enough to finish writing her Term Paper. Kendra actually managed to write a part of a term paper...she had run out of time, boyfriends and pledges right before her final term paper was to be written.



Kendra's last few days were fun to say the least. She managed to WooHoo 2 students from a dorm (before they moved to Kenisa Sorority), 2 Professors (both for grades and less of a chance of her actually writing a term paper), a cow and llama mascot and the cafeteria worker who should be croaking any day now. I was shocked when I heard the musical bells just before graduation after she finished WooHooing with the cafeteria worker. So by the time she finished at Truth University, she had her diploma, became the "Big Woman On Campus", boosted Kenisa Sor to the number 1 position (so that they could have an unlimited number of members), she was also half way to her LTW and a baby on the way. Not too long after she moved into her own house in Truth, she got a job as a Character Artist and had little Tyrone. Moved in Garrett the cafeteria worker (but he only came with 1000 simoleons)

Lisa graduted, still working on becoming top of the medical field. She got pregnant right after Kendra (maybe this will be an ongoing sorority thing...graduate with honours and as a member of Kenisa Sorority, you'll be given a child upon graduation :D) Lisa was extra careful with this pregnancy. She moved into a house, not too far from Kendra's place, but a bit bigger and then quickly invited her boyfriend Hayden to move in with her and as soon as that happend, he popped the question, she said yes and he came with 12,000 simoleons (cha-ching!). She hasn't had the baby yet but Hayden's already showing the longing to be a father. He's at Kendra's house everyday, just to play with Tyrone. He doesn't really say anything to Kendra. He just feeds Tyrone, plays with him and cleans up after him...it's endearing really but kinda odd when he comes over uninvited and acts like he has the right to do it. Kendra just lets him be and catches a nap in the mean time.
